1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Kazzzi account or using the Kazzzi app or website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Who Can Use Kazzzi

Kazzzi connects three types of users: Freelancers who find and apply for gigs, Bosses who post gigs and hire freelancers, and Service Providers who fulfil on-demand service orders (cleaning, electrical work, and similar tasks). You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering.

3. Account Verification

To build trust on the platform, accounts go through a verification process that includes phone OTP confirmation, email verification, a government-issued ID (passport, driving license, or national ID), and a selfie check. Kazzzi may suspend or limit unverified accounts' access to certain features.

4. Posting and Accepting Gigs

Bosses are responsible for accurately describing the gig, including location, budget, and requirements. Freelancers are responsible for assessing whether they can complete a gig before accepting it. Kazzzi is a marketplace that facilitates these connections — it is not a party to the agreement between a Boss and a Freelancer.

5. Payments and Fees

Mobile money payments (including M-Pesa, Airtel Money, and CRDB) are processed through our payment partner Selcom. Funds for a gig may be held until the work is confirmed complete, and released according to any milestones agreed between the Boss and Freelancer. Kazzzi may charge a service fee on completed gigs or service orders, which will be disclosed before you confirm a transaction.

6. Service Orders

Service Orders booked through Kazzzi Services (cleaning, electrical, and similar on-demand services) are automatically assigned to an available Service Provider. Wallet balance is deducted at the time of booking. Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the order status at the time of cancellation.

7. Live Location Sharing

During an active gig or service order, a Freelancer or Service Provider may share their live location with the relevant Boss or client so progress can be tracked. Location sharing is limited to the duration of the active job and is not used for background tracking.

8. Reviews and Conduct

Users may rate and review each other after a gig or order is completed. Reviews must be honest and based on an actual interaction on the platform. Harassment, discrimination, fraud, and posting of illegal or unsafe gigs are prohibited and may result in account suspension or removal.

9. Reporting and Disputes

Gigs, service orders, or users can be reported through the app if something seems unsafe, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms. Kazzzi will review reports and may suspend accounts, gigs, or service orders pending investigation. Kazzzi does not guarantee the outcome of any dispute between users.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or via our web-based account deletion form. Some records, such as completed transaction history, may be retained as required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

Kazzzi provides the platform "as is" and is not responsible for the quality of work performed, the conduct of any user, or losses arising from gigs or service orders arranged through the platform. Users engage with one another at their own risk and are encouraged to use the platform's verification, ratings, and in-app messaging features to make informed decisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Kazzzi after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
